Drummer Tom Finnie has been playing the drums with professional groups for
over 20 years and has been with the GRBC since it's inception. Having played
with all of the members of GRBC for many years, he knows how to play within
the context of the others. Like the other members of the band, he believes
he has found a permanent home for his beat to live. Tom once said that "the
essence of any style of music, of any deliberate rhythm can be found in the
blues." Listen closely to either of the two GRBC disks, and you can see
just what he means. Tom plays a standard four piece Rodgers kit. His
favorite Cymbals are Zildjian and Paiste. He works in the computer industry
as a product manager and lives in Rockford, Michigan with his Wife Donna
and son Samuel.
